Hi, I’m Sarah,
Have you ever felt unsure about who you are, especially when life doesn't go as planned? You're not alone. Life throws unexpected challenges our way, sometimes making us feel stuck in the stories we've told ourselves. But here's the empowering truth – you have the power to redefine and reclaim your identity.
As a psychotherapist, personal trainer, and mother of four, I've faced my own struggles. Balancing personal goals with family needs has taught me valuable lessons. I've learned to silence my inner critic, stay focused on goals, and avoid getting tangled in negative thoughts.
I love working with parents and families to improve connections. I'm also passionate about helping those dealing with perfectionism, imposter syndrome, disordered eating and eating disorders.
Whether you want stronger family bonds or self-discovery, I'm here to support you. Let's navigate together toward better relationships and self-worth.
Take that first step and reach out—I'm here to guide you. Let's explore the unique narrative that shapes your experiences and work towards cultivating a more compassionate sense of self. Feel free to email me, and let's schedule a consultation.
“Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way round or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.”

Psychotherapy & Eating Disorders
Psychotherapy is a crucial part of the recovery journey for those dealing with eating disorders. It helps unravel the emotional roots and complex thoughts behind disordered eating. Therapies like CBT(Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy) give insight into these struggles, helping clients understand triggers and patterns.
In therapy, individuals find a safe space to talk about their feelings and tackle the shame around eating disorders. Together, we develop coping skills, build resilience, and improve self-image, leading to lasting change. Psychotherapy isn't just about facing challenges – it empowers individuals to heal mentally, emotionally, and physically.
In Ontario, psychotherapists are licensed by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Our psychotherapy services are not covered by provincial health plans like OHIP, but you may have coverage through your extended health insurance.
Insurance coverage varies, so check your plan to see what's covered (like per session or per year). While we don't do direct billing, we'll give you a detailed receipt to submit to your insurance provider.
If your insurance doesn't cover psychotherapy, keep your receipt. In Ontario, psychotherapy counts as a medical expense for tax purposes, and you might qualify for a tax credit depending on your income when you file your taxes.
